Digital Photonic Production and Industrie 4.0 and what it means for education and research
The Fraunhofer ILT organizes a symposium “Digital Photonic Production and Industrie 4.0 and what it means for education and research” in the honor of Prof. Reinhart Poprawe.
The intention is to acknowledge his scientific work as professor in the field of laser technology and his bridge building activities between Fraunhofer specific contract research, basic research and university education on the occasion of his retirement.
Within the scope of the international LASER World of Photonics 2019 trade fair, the symposium is connected to the expert conference on Lasers in Manufacturing (LiM) organized by the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft Lasertechnik WLT e.V. Prof. Poprawe will hold a plenary lecture about Digital Photonic Production on the LiM. This conference will be attended by numerous international representatives of the laser industry.
