Our range of services
Compact laser systems are in great demand in chemistry and biotechnology, for example for particle or process analysis. Used here are, for example, the laser light scattering analysis and the laser induced fluorescence. Besides being used to examine fluorescence intensity, fluorescence lifetime and fluorescence polarization can also be applied for analytical purposes. With the laser, particle sizes can be precisely determined or specific biomolecules can be stimulated and identified via the subsequently emitted light. The focus of research and development is, for example, the design of corresponding inline measuring systems as well as the implementation and further development of waveguide technology, probes for chemical process analysis and compact lock-in amplifiers. For measuring devices in the field of food analysis or applications in flow measurement technology, the laser-based methods developed at Fraunhofer ILT are just as suitable as for applications in biotechnology.
The range of services covers all areas of the development chain of application-specific analysis systems. For example, the Fraunhofer ILT offers its customers feasibility studies on individual tasks, the further development of processes, the integration of analysis systems into existing processes, and advice on the design of plants.
