Burrs on cut and stamped edges of sheet metal increase the risk of injury and can often damage cables and scratch surfaces. For this reason alone, it makes sense to deburr such edges. Laser deburring not only strengthens the edges, but also increases the fatigue strength of the components and reduces the tendency to crack.

The system presented at EuroBLECH, which will be used in the processing of cold-rolled products, among other things, is specially designed to maximise process reliability when processing coils.
The AI-based systems analyze the process signals in real time and detect even the smallest deviations before they can lead to problems. The "minimally invasive” laser modulation pattern (MILM) ensures that the cutting process remains continuously stable, which minimizes scrap rates and significantly increases the overall productivity of the system.
